Arkansas State Disc Dog Championship

What: A family friendly event with fur flying disc dog action that is open to the public to come and play with their dog, and free to those that want to see the fun filled events unfold. This competition is going to be held in the popular Skyhoundz Disc Dog-a-thon rules format. The events will include Distance/Accuracy, Freestyle, Time Trial, and Extreme Distance. There will be awards for top finishers in each event and an Over-All Champion (aka The First Arkansas State Disc Dog Champion!) and Runner– Up for combined performance.
Where: The competition field is located across from Bentonville Administration Offices located at 500 Tiger Blvd, Bentonville, AR 72712. Parking is at the field and free.
When: Saturday June 19th, 2010, Start Time 10:00am Registration for competitors opens at 9am. End time will depend on the number of entered teams. We will go rain or shine.
Rules and Entries: Rules for the Skyhoundz Disc Dog-a-Thon can be found at their website. www.skyhoundz.com . Northwest AR K9 Disc Club are hosting this State Championship. Head Judges will be, two time International Champion Tracy Custer, and Sport Division World Champion Adrian Custer. Entries will be $5 per team per event, $10 for a Freestyle entry. One Hyperflite K-10 Competition Standard Disc will be given to each competitor when they register, while supplies last.

Training Clinic: *On Sunday June 20th, disc dog champion and dog trainer Tracy Custer will be holding a training clinic for all levels of disc dog play. For more information about this great opportunity to advance your game, and to be sure you and your dog get a spot at the clinic, contact us ASAP.
